This is an agreement between you “Contractor” and Jennifer Gonzalez Photography “photographer” entered into TODAY (date of signing).
Agreement
You agree to work as a second shooter for the photographer at a sporting event. In your role you will be part of the photographer’s company and represent them at the fields. You understand that you will not be able to promote your own photography at the sporting event and any attempt to do so will result in being asked to leave immediately. You may also have to forfeit payment if it results in the photographer experiencing a financial loss. You will be paid $50/hour.
Style/Photos
You agree to shoot straight forward sport images capturing the action and emotions surrounding the games. You will refrain from trendy shots like the Dutch angle, motion blur, etc. While these are all valid styles, they do work for this particular sporting event. You understand that you need to shoot in RAW and provide the images to the editor.
Sharing
You understand that there will not be model releases signed at the event so you cannot share images to your social media accounts. Any sharing of images could cause legal issues for the photographer. The photographer will also not be sharing any images to social media or using them for their portfolio except in cases where an individual or team hires them directly.
NDA
You agree to keep any trade or company secrets that the photographer uses while covering the sporting event. This includes software, editing, other vendors, online galleries, online ordering software, etc. The photographer is more than happy to discuss each of these with your for your own use but sharing this information with other photographers is strictly prohibited.
Food/Drinks
Your lunch and snacks will be provided at the fields. The photographer can provide a $20 meal voucher prior to the event so you can purchase food to bring with you. The photographer will have water and drinks available for you throughout the day.
Sunscreen
The photographer will have sunscreen available at the field.
Copyright
You will retain the copyright of your images even though you will be unable to post them to social media or your portfolio.
